What to know
- Presets store style choices such as canvas treatment, background, and frame. Crop and position often still need per-image adjustment.
- Older history items are removed automatically by age and by entry limit.
- History restores only work as long as Shotwell can still access the image and any related background assets.
- If a history source is unavailable, Shotwell can still show the entry, but preview or restore may be incomplete.
