## [What to know](/content/docs/editing/frames#what-to-know/index.html)

- Turning on a frame often requires follow-up crop and position tuning.
- In quick tune flows, `round` and `stroke` controls are disabled while a frame is active.
- Notch hide works only on frames that include a notch cutout.

### [Recommended order](/content/docs/editing/frames#recommended-order/index.html)

Pick your frame before final crop and tune work. That prevents extra rework after the device shape changes.
