## [What to Know](/content/docs/editing/effects#what-to-know/index.html)

- Tune parameters are selected from the tune menu in `Tune` mode.
- Advanced stroke controls are available from the stroke advanced route.
- If a frame is enabled, quick `round` and `stroke` controls are disabled.

## [Recommended Tuning Order](/content/docs/editing/effects#recommended-tuning-order/index.html)

1. Padding
2. Shadow
3. Round or inset
4. Stroke

### [Why Stroke Can Feel Inconsistent](/content/docs/editing/effects#why-stroke-can-feel-inconsistent/index.html)

Higher stroke widths and opacity are very sensitive to export scale and frame usage. If edges look heavy, reduce width first before changing opacity.
